Bundeskriminalamt (BKA)

Autumn Conference 2016

This year's Autumn Conference of the Bundeskriminalamt will be held in Mainz from 16th to 17th November 2016 on the subject of

"Crime in Germany under the Influence of Worldwide Crises and Conflicts?"

Worldwide crises and conflicts also have an impact on the crime and security situation in Europe.
At this year's BKA Autumn Conference current developments and the response required from the security agencies as a result will be analysed and discussed. To develop an adequate picture of the subject in all its socio-political complexity, the BKA has compiled a conference programme consisting of manifold presentations, i.a. on global migration movements and their impact on Germany and Europe, the ensuing changes in the sense of security and the expectations of society as well as the challenges which the security agencies in particular will have to meet in this context. The balance between freedom and security will be examined from different angles in a panel discussion.

Note:

  • Participation in the conference is for invited guests only. Media representatives may obtain accreditation for the event from the BKA press office.
  • During and after the conference, you will find further information, such as speeches (if available) and photo galleries, on this site as well as on our social media channels Facebook @Bundeskriminalamt.bka and Twitter @bka.
