On 18 November 2008 in Frankfurt/Main, the Bundeskriminalamt conducted the first "Research Conference on Organised Crime".
The first Research Conference on Organised Crime examined the situation in Germany and its neighbouring countries. Speakers from Belgium, Germany, Poland, Sweden and the Czech Republic reported on their research projects and the current state of OC research in their countries.
