Please take note due to a construction site:
In order to avoid the Salzbachtalbrücke, we recommend using the Mainzer Ring of the freeways 643, 60 and 671. Road users from the Untertaunus and Rheingau regions can either use the western bypass of the city area via the B 260 or the northeastern bypass via the B 275 and the A 3.
For unavoidable trips through the city area, the city government suggests the alternative route A 643/Schiersteiner Straße or Biebricher Allee - Zweiter Ring - Bundesstraße 455 in the direction of Eltville or Hofheim. In the direction of Ingelheim or Hochheim, the alternative route Äppelallee - Kasteler Straße - Amöneburg traffic circle - A 671 can be used.
